Virtual Antenna™ design at Edi Con China 2019

Barcelona, March 5, 2019 – Fractus Antennas (NN) and its Virtual Antenna™ technology will be available this April at the Edi Con China 2019. All attendees to the congress can experience this antenna revolution by attending either to the practical workshop “Virtual AntennaTM design for IoT Devices” (2 April) or to the Frequency Matters Theater talk “Antenna boosters for IoT. One chip antenna fits all” (1 April).

Fractus Antennas has organized a hands-on workshop to show how designing a multiband antenna system is now as simple as designing the matching network. The antenna does not longer need customization thanks to the new generation of tiny and off-the-shelf antenna components called antenna boosters. By using the booster mXTENDTM family and the Microwave Office Circuit Simulation Software by NI AWR Design Environment the audience will learn how to make the design of IoT/Mobile devices simplerfaster and more cost-effective. The attendees will also have the opportunity of measuring a design with a Rohde & Schwarz Vector Network Analyzer.

The miniature, multiband and multipurpose antenna boosters will be also available at the exhibition floor at the Richardson RFPD and Fractus Antennas booth (booth 416).

Part II: Your turn: Design and check your antenna system by using the antenna boosters and the Electromagnetic (EM) Software – Microwave Office (2h)
• Design your own antenna system at ISM (Industrial-Scientific-Medical)
• Design a multiband antenna system at 4G (824MHz-960MHz and 1710MHz-2690MHz)
• Both designs will start from scratch: from the initial S-parameter of an antenna booster without a matching network, to the final design including the optimized matching network with an antenna booster.
